Large frame with an average build, physically mature; Works from a semi-windup, short arm action and a 3/4 slot, mild effort and some deception in the delivery. |

Flat offering but has arm-side run; not overpowering but he commands it well low in the zone, lives on the edges, avoids barrels. |

Currently inconsistent, will hang a few but when he gets it right it shows late break and swing and miss potential |

Lacks feel and velocity separation, flat and lacked consistent action, currently below average offering |

Only mixed in a couple in my look; had 12-6 shape with downward bite, could become serviceable pitch with more experience. |
Davis was coming off Tommy John surgery when the Reds selected him in the 11th round of the 2018 draft out of UC Santa Barbara. None of his four pitches stand out as more than average but he knows how to pitch and has a knack for missing barrels. Profiles as a middle reliever or a spot starter on a second division team.
