Extra-large frame, stocky and thick build, physically mature, body will require maintenance. Works out of a semi-windup with a high leg kick, three-quarters arm slot with clean action, above-average arm speed and mild effort in the delivery. |

Flat offering but has some natural arm-side run and late life, Excellent command to all four quadrants, generates weak ground ball outs. Velocity would tick up if used in shorter bullpen outings. |

Still developing, currently inconsistent shape and lacks bite; potential future use as a strike stealer. |

Strong complement to the fastball, replicates arm action well, good velocity separation; Commands it well, will fade out of the zone generating some swing and miss. |

Limited usage in my look, cutter action; Used more to miss barrels rather than a swing and miss offering. |
Drafted in the second round of 2020 out of East Tennessee State, Knack is not your typical fifth-year senior sign. The raw stuff is good but not overwhelming but his excellent command and pitchability are assets that will allow him to be successful at the big league level. Already 23 years old, Knack should move quickly through the organization. Profiles as an innings eating, back of the rotation starter.
