Wiry strong, athletic frame. Visible strength already in upper body, insignificant physical projection remaining. Simple, repeatable delivery; comes set with glove at belt and raises to chest along with leg kick that brings knee slightly above belt. Generates power through lower body, leans on back leg just before bringing arm forward. Starts holding ball just below belt and finishes in very high 3/4 slot, almost overhand, gets excellent extension with long arms. Excellent balance allows him to repeat delivery or vary timing. |

Good extension allows pitch to explode and play above velo. Gets good life and glove-side run, especially effective up in the zone (where it plays well off the curve). Control over command at present, mostly throws middle and up but spots a few on glove-side corner where it is also effective. Will need to refine command to fulfill plus grade and retain effectiveness at high levels. |

Easy plus projection, was tempted to go higher. Shape can vary from 12-6 downer to 10-4 borderline slider with significant horizontal action. Both versions get excellent depth and sharp, late bite. Can use as get-me-over strike but is devilish when located down in and below the zone, where it jumps off the table. If he figures out how to use the different variations where and when he wants, watch out. |

Usable as a change of pace pitch against lefties especially, but comes in firm without much dive or fade. |
A lot of command development necessary and third pitch not a factor at present, so still a risky proposition projecting a starter. Mid-rotation/No. 2 upside if some things come together. If they don't, could definitely see a future as a high leverage reliever with this FB/CV combo.
