Average offering, flat but has some natural run on it. Success depends on command. Locates the pitch well, works the edges and stays out of the middle of the zone. Plays up with use of the off speed. |

Acquired via trade with Cleveland in exchange for Mike Clevinger. Waldron possesses average stuff but makes it work with command and an off-speed pitch that generates swing and miss. He works with a good tempo and shows an advanced feel for pitching. Once refined, the knuckle/curve will be his best pitch and help the fastball play up. Profiles as a back of the rotation starter.
