Extra large frame with a lean, athletic build, projectable growth. High 3/4 arm slot, average arm speed. Some stiffness in the delivery with a deep arm action and a head whack on foot strike. Has pitchability, shows advanced pitch sequencing. |

Fastball plays up due to angle and deception of delivery, gets good downward plane and has some natural run to miss barrels, shows the ability to cut. Velocity will tick up with physical maturity. |

The changeup is a plus offering that has the ability to generate swings and misses, good arm replication and velocity separation, fades away from right handed hitters. Cantillo has confidence in it and will throw on any count. |

Big and soft with 12-6 movement, will struggle to get on top of it, lacks spin. |
Cantillo lacks elite stuff but used his deception and pitchability to dominated Midwest League hitters. He's tall and athletic with a frame that will hold additional good weight. The fastball is tough for hitters to pick up and with an anticipated increase in velocity it will play strong average. The change pairs well and looks the same coming out of the hand making for a true swing and miss pitch. Cantillo profiles as a future back of the rotation arm.
