Standard windup before medium step and collapsing the core into a true side arm slot rotating around his front leg towards home plate. Limited extension, but very hard to pick up from LH side. |

Slider with average gloveside action and some dive when left low in zone. Sweeping break across plate can be troublesome for LH hitters. |
Goes by Locke St. John. Uses a deceptive delivery, a below average fastball, a plus changeup, an average slider, average command, and advanced pitchability to currently profile as Triple-A depth or an emergency up/down bullpen player. St. John attacks lefties with a hard to pick up arm slot and working fastball/slider on the outside half that keeps them guessing. He attacks righties with a similar strategy with his fastball/changeup, and can drop in a back foot slider when he needs.
Currently, there isn't enough fastball command to project St. John as a full-time MLB middle reliever, but with improved command the pitchability could carry him to a middle reliever slot where he could specialize in handling left handed heavy parts of the lineup.
