Hit	50	Open stance, minimal load with a mild leg kick for timing. Confident hitter, plus bat speed, with natural loft in the swing which can cause some swing and miss in the zone. Recognizes spin well, rarely expands the zone to chase, has the ability to make loud contact to all fields.
Power	60	Easy plus raw power generated by bat speed and strength, natural loft to the swing with the ability to take it out to all fields, crushes mistakes.
Baserunning/Speed	50	Current above-average raw foot speed, will play average with maturity, aggressive base runner.
Glove	50	Can handle center field well enough for now but lacks the range to stick there long term, will end up at a corner with physical maturity; currently raw, doesn't get a good first step and will take poor routes, athleticism will allow the glove to play average with additional experience.
Arm	50	Throws show good carry, strong enough to play average in RF and above average elsewhere in the outfield.

The pandemic and a broken hamate bone limited Valera to less than 200 professional at-bats prior to 2021 but he's now healthy and showing off the loud tools that make him the top young hitter in the organization. The power is plus but he's more than just a slugger. His command of the strike zone and ability to consistently square up pitches will make him a future impact bat.
