Hit	40	Slightly open, upright stance; average bat speed, long swing that has slight uppercut, can be exposed by velocity; Patient hitter almost to the point of passive, decent spin recognition.
Power	50	Plus raw power generated from physical strength and leverage in the swing, mostly pull power; Pop plays down a grade due to lack of contact ability.
Baserunning/Speed	40	Current average raw foot speed, 4.24 home to first clock; will not be a threat to steal but will not clog the bases. Speed will play below average as he matures.

Drafted in the 4th round in 2019 out of Wright State, Gray could step on a major league field today and be one of the top defenders at third base. His glove rivals that of more experienced players but his big league future will depend on the bat. Currently the lack of contact at the plate drags the overall profile down to that of a reserve player who spends a large amount of time traveling between the big league club and Triple-A. However, Gray is sneaky athletic and if he can develop the bat to at least fringe-average it's not hard to envision a strong platoon type that mashes righties and provides fantastic defense.
